XIV, a French artist of Cape Verdean origin, discovered his passion for music early through his grandmother. He began recording with local rappers in Paris (77) before moving to London, where he grew as a producer. Later, in Lisbon, he met Plutonio, who became a mentor and introduced him to Richie Campbell. Both encouraged him to step out from behind the boards and pursue a career as an artist.

Musically, XIV blends French and Cape Verdean Creole, with clear African roots reflected in his vocal cadence and rhythmic choices. His sound is shaped by the cultures he has experienced across France, the UK, and Portugal, creating a unique identity in today’s music scene. He is currently preparing his debut solo album.
